MONK'S BRIDGE

Monk's Bridge is a wooden bridge and is suitable for vehicles. It replaced an older stone bridge of about 1854. There are wooden rails and a central pier with substantial stone abutments. It is on a curve of the river and crosses from a meadow into woodlands. There is a weir nearby.
