Bridges On The Wear

WESTFALL BRIDGE

This bridge over the Killhope Burn is up the hill from Wearhead and gives access to Wearhead Primary School and to some footpaths. It is a pleasant stone bridge situated just off the main road and stands fairly high above the river which flows quite steeply at this point down into the village.
